The byre standards are the trust signal and the interoperability guarantee. When you work with byre, you get implementations that conform to open specifications — verifiable by anyone, compatible with anything else in the ecosystem.
This is not a vendor lock-in. The specs are free. The conformance suites are open. What you pay for is the expertise to implement them correctly and the signed attestation that proves it.
